Mike Tudor is a photographer based in Sussex, England. His work explores themes of place, experience, the urban environment and the evolving relationship we have with an ever more connected world.
His exhibition ‘Labyrinth’ is was exhibited at Imperial Arcade, Brighton as part of Brighton Photo Fringe in October 2024. In collaboration with fellow photographer Sebastian F. Mahon.
Followed by an successful open call run by Mike & Sebastian with a workshop showing fellow photographers how to paste up their printed images in Imperial Arcade as part of Photo Fringe 2024, receiving over 100 entries from over 50 photographers.
Showing worked from his most recent project iBurnt Out Ruins of the Past [2023-]. Boundaries continue to imperceptibly creep in. Constantly surrounded, we navigate through restrictions and barriers. Through exploration of the architecture and structures that surround us. Past experiences inform these pathways, and before we know it we risk being swallowed whole.
The initial series of 21 images were published as a limited 10 edition run of a Zine in March 2024 [SOLD OUT], following a trip in Manchester in May the series has since increased. [2024]
He completed his Master in Photography at Brighton University in 2022, and has worked both freelance and professionally as a photographer since 2012.
